A Rocky century (Ouray, CO)

Hi everyone, we've just had three very long, intense days in the Rockies. It's been an awesome experience so far, but also a really challenging and emotional one. Here are some pictures from the last three days, and I'll post journals as soon as I get a chance. We've had some minor injuries these past couple days, but everyone is doing well and we're still trucking. If you're reading this blog, I'd really appreciate it if you'd keep the safety of our group in your prayers or thoughts, especially these next few days as we finish crossing the mountains. Thanks so much!

Bike odometer: 2525 miles

PS - Mrs. Barry, Katie, and Pastor Edmison, thanks so much for the kind notes!

In the morning, somewhere near Black Canyon...Colorado has the most varied and interesting geography ever; hopefully I can write about it more soon

Mesas! And cool reflecting lakes

Emily H, my riding buddy for the day, and a mesa

Dry, hilly area

Way to go Meredith! All your fans love your posts and so enjoy your pictures seeing how far (and high) this group has progressed. The miles are passing so quickly and you will be finished before you know it. Savor every minute, including those miserable 6% steep uphill climbs. Just think of the stories you will have to tell.

Enjoy the cool weather while you can!!!!

See you in San Diego.
